Accomplishments

We’ve made investments of over 1.5 billion dollars from new or existing businesses.


We continue to build on our transportation and logistics assets with a new General Aviation Customs Facility at the Gary Airport and investment in infrastructure and the cultivation of Indiana General Assembly support of a multi-modal facility at Buffington Harbor.


Handgun-related violence is down! Homicides were reduced by 17%, robberies are down by 23% and assaults are down by 3%.


We have demolished more than 1200 abandoned and dangerous structures over the past 6 years.
